Looking for a fun, healthy treat to make with your little ones this Halloween?
Try these BOO-nana Ghost Pops! They’re easy enough for toddlers to help with, and the variations will keep older kids entertained, too.

Ingredients:

  • Bananas
  • Greek Yogurt (or White Chocolate)
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Maple Syrup
  • Choc Chips or any other decorations

    Method:

    1. Cut the bananas in half and insert popsicle sticks. For older kids, you can use a fork to gently press into the bottom of the banana to give it more of a ghostly shape.
    2. Prepare the Greek yoghurt. You can use it as is (just stir to remove any lumps) or mix in a teaspoon of vanilla essence and a touch of maple syrup for extra flavour.
Tip: For older kids, you can substitute the yoghurt with melted white chocolate.
    3. Dip the banana halves into the yoghurt (or chocolate) to coat them evenly.
    4. Add chocolate chips for eyes, or for older kids, use melted chocolate to create eyes and a mouth, or get creative with your own spooky decorations!
    5. Place the coated bananas on baking paper and freeze for about two hours.
    6. Once frozen, enjoy your spooky, delicious BOO-nana Ghost Pops!
